I reached out to AKG support because I was having an issue with my headphones, the whole process was frustrating. It took forever to get a response, and when they finally did reply, it felt like a generic copy-and-paste answer that didn’t really address my problem. I followed up again and never heard back. Compared to other audio brands I’ve dealt with, where support usually gets back within a day or two with an actual solution, this was really disappointing. I just needed a simple answer, but after this experience, I don’t think I’d buy from their site again.

"Bass just isn’t there"
I don’t know how else to say it — the bass is weak. I kept having to explain that I wasn’t expecting anything crazy, just a fuller sound, but it still feels thin.

I keep having the connection drop on me, and it’s annoying. Maybe it’s just my unit, but part of me wonders if they know this happens and just don’t really advertise it. Either way, it’s frustrating when you’re trying to use it and it randomly cuts out.

"Too much hassle to use with my devices"
The sound was decent when it actually connected, but getting my AKG earbuds to work with my laptop and older phone was way more of a chore than it should’ve been. I kept having to disconnect, reconnect, mess with settings, and basically do extra work just to listen to something. For the price, I really expected smoother device support. Annoying, honestly.
"Volume is just too low"
I could barely hear anything, even with the volume turned up. I also expected clearer instructions in case there’s a setting I’m missing, but it wasn’t obvious what to do.

"Felt rushed into buying these, and they broke fast"
I bought these akg earbuds because I needed a pair quickly and felt a little pressured to just pick something that seemed decent. I figured the brand would hold up, but after only a few weeks, one side started cutting in and out even though I kept them in the case and didn’t drop them or treat them rough.
Now the cable or connection feels loose, and the sound keeps coming and going, which is really frustrating. For what they cost, I expected way better durability. I wish I’d taken more time before buying them, because I definitely wouldn’t get these again...

"Great sound, but the Bluetooth is driving me nuts"
The sound quality is good, which makes this even more frustrating. When it’s connected, I like using it, but the Bluetooth keeps randomly dropping from my phone. Then it takes a few tries to get it paired again, and by that point I’m already annoyed. I wanted to like it more, but the connection issues are a letdown.

"Still not sure where my order is"
I’m still waiting on my order and the delivery date has already changed twice. I’m not totally sure if it’s a shipping issue or something else, but I haven’t gotten any clear update, so it’s been frustrating.

I ordered from AKG and it turned out okay in the end, but the whole process didn’t exactly inspire confidence. The updates were slow and kind of vague, and when I reached out to support, I didn’t really get much of an answer. I did receive my item, so is it a scam? No. But would a little clearer communication have made the experience feel way better? Definitely...

"Good sound, but the battery is hit or miss"
The sound quality is fine, but the battery life has been disappointing. It barely makes it through my commute now, which gets annoying fast. I expected a bit more from AKG, so for me these are kind of hit or miss.

"Availability was disappointing"
I tried to order replacement ear pads, and later checked back for headphones too, but both were out of stock. To be fair, the site itself looks fine and is easy enough to browse, but it’s frustrating when the items you actually need aren’t available. I ended up having to look elsewhere. Not a terrible experience overall, just kind of annoying

"I was already in a impatient mood..."
I was already in a impatient mood when I went on akg.com, and the site definitely didn’t help. Pages were loading slowly for me, and I kept clicking around just to find basic product details. The menu looked simple at first, but it didn’t make things any easier.
The checkout section was confusing too, and after a while I just gave up before buying anything. I expected a smoother experience from a big audio brand like AKG, but the whole site felt more messy than it should.

"Expected more for the price"
I bought this from akg.com because I really thought the quality would feel special for the price. I remember opening the box feeling excited, like I’d finally treated myself to something a step above what I usually buy. But after using it, I felt kind of let down. The sound is fine, but nothing that made me think, wow, this was worth it. The build also doesn’t feel that much better than some cheaper brands I’ve had before. Shipping was smooth, so no complaints there, but it didn’t make up for the disappointment. For what I paid, I expected a lot more. I probably wouldn’t buy it again unless it was heavily discounted.

"Really disappointed with the sound!!"
I was let down by the sound on this!!! It came across really muddy and weak, and I kept hoping it would get better, but it just didn’t!!! Not the experience I was expecting at all!!!

"I’ll be fair and say the site..."
I’ll be fair and say the site probably has what I was looking for somewhere, but it felt clunky to use. I had a hard time finding things and ended up giving up sooner than I expected.

The sound is fine, but I can’t wear these for more than about 20 minutes before my ears start hurting. They also keep slipping out no matter which tips I try. I went through all the sizes thinking maybe it was just me, but they’re still a bad fit. I’m not even bothering with customer service because I’ve had enough runarounds with that kind of thing before

I bought these from akg.com expecting the audio to be crisp and clear, but the sound has been kind of muddy and thin for me. Voices don’t come through as cleanly as I thought they would, and music just feels a bit flat. I tried messing with different settings and using them with a few devices, but it didn’t really improve much. For the price, I was expecting a lot better. Maybe I’m missing something, but I’m disappointed so far.

"Noise cancelling was kinda a letdown"
I bought these from akg.com thinking the noise cancelling would be strong, but yeah... it’s just alright. It blocks out some of the low background stuff like a fan or bus rumble, but voices, typing, random sharper sounds, all still come through more than I expected.
The headphones themselves feel fine and shipping was totally normal, no issue there. But for the price I really thought they’d do more. I keep turning the volume up to cover the noise, which kind of defeats the whole point. Not awful, just not what I was hoping for
